Payment

All workshops require full prepayment prior to the event date. An early bird special price is applicable if so stated on the workshop registration form. To be eligible for the early bird special, participants must submit a formal purchase order from their organization/company or arrange the full payment from their  organization/company according to the details sent to the email address stated on the registration form.  21st Century Schools accepts payment from organizations and individuals via credit card, as well as checks issued from a legal entity such as a school or a school district.  We do not accept personal checks.  


Cancellation policy

Participants must submit cancellations to 21st Century Schools in writing, at least 5 days prior to the workshop. All cancellations will be subject to an administration fee of $200 USD. Regretfully, we are unable to provide refunds for registrations cancelled after this date, in which case the full registration fee will be applicable. Replacement delegates (notification of must also be received in writing) will be accepted at any time and at no extra charge.


Workshop Cancellation Policy

A strict minimum and maximum number of attendees apply to workshop events.  A workshop may be cancelled or postponed if the number of attendees is fewer than the minimum number of attendees required to cover the costs of the workshop.  21st Century Schools reserves the right to cancel a paid workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.  If this occurs, notification will be sent to all participants at least 3 days prior to the workshop.  This notification will indicate whether the workshop is being cancelled or postponed.  A full refund or re-scheduling to another workshop will be offered to all registered participants.


Changes to Workshop Program

For reasons beyond our control, it is occasionally necessary to alter the timing of the workshop program, venue or instructors leading the workshop. This will be done for the benefit of participants and at the discretion of 21st Century Schools.


Insurance

The registration fee does not include insurance against personal accidents, illness, cancellation by any party, theft, loss or damage to personal items. Participants are advised to carry adequate personal insurance in order to cover travel expenses, accommodations, cancellations, personal belongings and other unforeseen circumstances.


Language

Unless stated otherwise, workshops are carried out in English.


Publicity

Please note that workshops may be photographed or videotaped for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your photograph or video to be published, please send written notification of this to 21st Century Schools.  Without this explicit statement, registration in a workshop authorizes 21st Century Schools to use any photos and/or videos arising from the workshop as promotional material on Facebook or other sites/ published materials.
